As bad as the truth-ignoring, reality-denying politicians are, the fact is that they are no worse than the population that they represent.  The politicians don’t want to cut spending, the recipients of government spending want it to continue and perhaps increase even though it is herding us into a future like the plight of Greece.  So lets build bases on Mars, fund the most expensive, limitless military conceivable, with more invisible programs and invisible corruption than any authority can get a handle on.  As long as we’re barreling head-long toward financial collapse, let’s have just one more for the road, and then just one more for the road, and then…, and when we have to account for the mess we’re in, let’s talk instead about the terrible arrangement of the chairs on the Titanic’s poop-deck.  We simply must straighten them up, right after we have a third helping of pie.  Our waistline is so beyond acceptable that what’s the harm in a few inches more?  And if we feel guilty, let’s just have a little nightcap, it don’t matter that it’s only 3 in the afternoon.  The thing that matters most is that we feel good about helping ourselves feel good about ourselves.  The missing train-trestle up ahead will repair itself before we get there, so have another Valium and relax, don’t worry, be happy.

More and more in this electronic age, people are living in a real-life version of The Matrix but it is a state in their mind, -a mind disconnected from reality and the law of consequences.  LaLa Land of denial, ignorance, and immaturity.  Are the numbers of those who are awake enough?  I used to think that with a population of about a dozen million Vietnam era veterans, added to Korean and WWII era Vets, our national character couldn’t get too slack and self-serving, but the numbers we are up against are enormous, with 20% of RINO republicans willing to consider voting for Obama!  Wow!  Talk about disconnected.  AN

Which is worse, the corruption and semi, quasi-corruption of the political class or the ignorance and stupidity of vast numbers of the immature population that have the right to express their bad judgement in the voting booth and choose candidates that seem like the one who is likely to win and so by voting for him/her they will have choosen “A WINNER!”, thereby showing how excellent their judgement is. AN

The statists believe that unalienable rights are a quaint old-fashioned idea that is passe.  Congressional Democrats know what’s best, better than that old rag called the Constitution.  The war they are waging is just for social welfare it is for what benefits them because they would be the ones that the beneficiaries would credit for the government’s largess.  The statist are chipping and stripping away fundamental rights which they don’t believe in because they block their agenda to be the boss of us all.  This kind of mindset is treasonous to the Constitution and the Bill of Rights but all they care about is procuring ever greater power to protect their turf and throw bones toward the socialist dreams of utopia which will always be just around the corner, but waiting for it need not be unrewarding when they control the purse strings with which they can enrich themselves.  AN

We are living in a constant tragic process of spiritual, moral, intellectual and psychological entropy.  The first time I felt there was something seriously wrong with the world was the first time I say a photo of the Rolling Stones.  They were the most morose, morbid, perversely ugly sight I’d ever seen in my life.  The night and day opposite of the Beatles.  A short generation later I was shocked even more by my first view of a photo of KISS.  I knew that the train had completely left the moral tracks if that was what young people were being infected with and worshiping. The full embrace of degenerate depictions of rebellion and anarchy was a sign of a kind of mental addition to things of great shock value, and those things were the opposite of angelic or heavenly or human or artistic but were totally on the dark side.  Degenerate slasher movies rounded out the field which was later joined by MTV and some of the depravity it broadcasts in the form of music videos.  But as bad as the depraved portion of American society is, we are still far from how I’ve heard Europe described, which is almost totally irreligious.  The word secular and European may be interchangeable.  God “died” in Europe with the rise of Nazi authoritarian barbarism.  That will never happen here.  We will suffer assaults from the anti-God, anti-Constitutionist, but they can’t destroy the Bill of Rights ever.  It isn’t going anywhere even though it stands in the way of their totalitarian agenda.  Liberty will prevail because there are more who love Freedom than love dependence and servitude to a government master.  AN

It is abundantly clear that the only consistent fiscal conservative running is Ron Paul. None of the rest of the Republicans running can be expected to even try to balance the budget during their first term. None of the rest of the Republicans seem bothered by the fact that Fed policy is to devalue the dollar every year with 2% or more inflation. None of the rest of the Republicans seem bothered by the theory that deficits of 3% of GDP forever are okay.

But, it is also clear that an overwhelming majority of Republicans believe it is necessary to have tens of thousands of troops stationed all around world and to maintain the best and by far most expense military borrowed money can buy. Heck, since Europe, South Korea and others will not defend themselves to our standards, the American taxpayer will just have to continue paying for their defense too.

Given that Democrats and the media will constantly and loudly demonize any attempts to rein in our fiscal insanity, I have every reason to think there is a very high probability that stagflation and a lower standard of living is coming in the next decade for most middle income Americans.

Being a conservative that cares more about my children’s future than my today, I think balancing the budget at whatever cost should be our first priority. Of course, I know higher taxes will hurt the economy, but the status quo is a growing disaster because way too few people care about these unbelievable deficits. I believe higher taxes and all of its negative implications are the only thing that would wake people up to the real cost of our current government.

Short of another revolutionary war to drive the charlatans and the fiscal fools out of power, I see no positive long term outcomes for constitutional government loving conservatives anywhere in sight.

I have concluded that people become left-wingers because they confuse good intentions with actual activity, theory with reality and fairy tales with history. That is to say, they are disconnected from an objective universe where facts trump emotions. In short, giving them the benefit of the doubt, I’ve decided that they are not necessarily evil, but they are certifiably bonkers.

They exist in a state of delusion that a cartoonist named Chip Bok captured in a cartoon in which Barack Obama, standing, as usual, at a podium, announces:

“I won’t allow the half of Americans who pay no taxes to bear the burden of the other half who aren’t paying their fair share.”

Benjamin Franklin told a woman that our type of government was a Republic, “If you can keep it.”  The problem is, how to KEEP it.  They had a solution:  The same Congress that passed the first amendment also passed the Northwest Ordinance of 1787 that gave the requirements for the admittance of states.  It is considered part of the Organic Law. It tells what the Founding Fathers considered our “peculiar security”.

It says, “Religion, morality, and knowledge, being necessary to good government and the happiness of mankind, schools and the means of education shall forever be encouraged”.Art. 3.

Our peculiar security was the consensus of the people to be governed by the laws of nature and nature’s God, which to them was the God of the Bible.  To foster this consensus, schools taught our “godly heritage”.  The Bible was taught in public schools until 1962.

I believe that religion is the only solid base of morals and that morals are the only possible support of free governments. [T]herefore education should teach the precepts of religion and the duties of man towards God.”

Benjamin Rush, Signer of the Declaration of Independence said.”[T]he only foundation for a useful education in a republic is to be aid in religion. Without this there can be no virtue, and without virtue there can be no liberty, and liberty is the object and life of all republican governments.  Without religion, I believe that learning does real mischief to the morals and principles of mankind.”

John Adams in a speech to the military in 1798 warned his fellow countrymen stating, “We have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion . . . Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”
There is no way we can keep the freedom the founding fathers bequeathed us, without the lived-out faith that they had, according to their own testimony.  It takes a North Korea to govern a populace whose passions are unbridled by morality and religion, which is where atheism inevitably ends.

During his radio monologue, Dr. Yuille often asks the following rhetorical questions:

If black people can forgive Democrats for slavery, why can’t blacks forgive Republicans for freedom?

If black people can forgive Democrats for Jim Crow that put Rosa Parks on the back of the bus, why can’t blacks forgive Republicans for supporting laws that ended Jim Crow?

If black people can forgive Democrats for the KKK, why can’t blacks forgive Republicans for anti-lynching laws to end Democrats’ reign of terror?

If black people can forgive George Wallace, the notoriously racist governor for supporting segregation, why can’t blacks forgive GOP President Eisenhower for sending in the National Guard so that black children could be allowed to go to public school in Little Rock, Ark.?

If black people can forgive President Bill Clinton and the Democrats for shrinking the black middle class, why can’t blacks forgive Reagan/Bush for the longest period of economic growth of the black middle class in the history of America? (See research by Dr. Melisa Harris-Perry)?

    By the time the election finally arrives, the economy, especially that for young black males, will have been so bad for so long that they will not be interested in even voting for him, much less rioting -if he honestly loses. No, the affront will not be to the streets and businesses in the inner cities, it will be to the Constitution if he is even placed on the ballot again. But who is willing to predict that it won’t happen just because it shouldn’t happen? The forces of the liberal left won’t be satisfied with their failed messiah but he sure beats the heck out of the alternative, whom they will view as the incarnate devil far worse that Obama’s predecessor. Obama will be the only choice for keeping alive their failed fairy-tale of a workers paradise that will be ushered in after the completion of the ever-romanticized “Revolution”!. Storm the Bastille, Behead the tyrants! Power to the People! Riots in the Street is the path to Peace and Prosperity and giving the shaft to “the man” man.

    First, the taxpayer subsidizes the wasted human space teaching these moronic courses (at prices far outpacing inflation), and then the taxpayer pays the incomes of the graduates who are resigned to filling ever-growing no-show, self-paced and self-evaluated government jobs.

    Who else would employ a graduate with a degree in Women’s Studies, Early Childhood Education, Physical Education , Sociology or Queer Studies but the government?

    The girl apparently stated that her father used the gun at home to shoot “monsters.”
    What did the cops find? A transparent, plastic toy gun that had been left by a relative.
    This, in a supposedly “democratic” nation that is heir to the Magna Carta and the English Bill of Rights?

    The Conservative government in Canada recently abolished the national long-gun registry, but is seems that they’ve got a bit more work to do if they want to live up to their cultural legacy as a free people.

    Americans who read this should be thinking “Thank you, George Washington! Thank you, James Madison!”

    I, like you, don’t believe in freedom. -don’t believe in free speech, -don’t believe in the right to assemble and to petition the government for redress of grievances, -don’t believe in the right of religious freedom, -don’t believe in the right of property, or habeus corpus, or trial by jury, self-defense. These so-called “rights” should be under the purview of the government which rightfully should have the power to grant them or rescind them as those in power so see fit depending on their viewpoint or mood. After all, the idea of “rights” is just an old-fashioned philosophy with roots in mysticism and religious myth. We should do away with such primitive, nonintellectual, sophomoric, quasi-cultish nonsense, and allow our wise, highly-educated, thoughtful, insightful, forward-thinking, humanitarian plutocrats to make our decisions for us and do what’s in the best interest of most.

    “I, John Doe, having been appointed a (rank) in the United States (branch of service), do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the office upon which I am about to enter. So help me God.”

    Note that the oath, like all other such oaths, is not about defend the nation, nor free enterprise, nor the government, nor the military, nor the States, nor the American people. It is all about supporting and defending only one thing, and that thing is the United States Constitution. It is the hub on which all the spokes of government and society are supported. Without it everything collapses.
